Pricing Transparency Disclosure
In accordance with EU transparency requirements for algorithmic pricing, this page explains how we calculate project complexity and determine pricing for our Infrastructure as Code generation services.
How Complexity Scoring Works
Our AI-powered system analyzes your infrastructure requirements across four key dimensions to calculate a complexity score. This score determines which pricing tier applies to your project.
1. Scale (Number of Services and Resources)
We count the total number of cloud services and resources in your infrastructure setup.
Score Impact: Resource Count × 0.5 points
Example: 10 resources = 5 points
2. Architecture Complexity
Advanced architectural patterns increase project complexity:
- High Availability (HA) within single region: +10 points
- Multiple interconnected services: +2-5 points per service dependency
- Complex networking (VPCs, subnets, routing): +5-10 points
- Advanced storage configurations: +3-8 points
Note: Multi-region deployments, multi-account setups, third-party integrations, and CI/CD pipelines are NOT included in Starter or Professional tiers. Enterprise tier handles complex requirements with custom scoping.
3. Compliance Requirements
Regulatory compliance frameworks add significant complexity:
Score Impact: +10 points per compliance framework
Frameworks: HIPAA, PCI-DSS, SOC 2, GDPR, ISO 27001
Note: We build infrastructure to support compliance frameworks but do not provide compliance certification services.
4. Availability and Uptime Requirements
Higher availability requirements within a single region increase complexity:
- Standard availability (single AZ/zone): Baseline complexity
- 99.9% uptime (multi-AZ within region): +5 points
- 99.99% uptime (high availability): +10 points
- Backup and restore configurations: +3-5 points
- Load balancing and auto-scaling: +5-8 points
Note: All HA configurations are within a single region and single cloud account.
Pricing Tier Assignment
Based on your total complexity score, your project is assigned to one of three pricing tiers:
Starter Tier
$299Complexity Score: 0-20 points
Perfect for simple greenfield projects with single cloud services and basic requirements.
Professional Tier
$799Complexity Score: 21-45 points
Production-grade infrastructure with multiple services, high availability, and comprehensive security configurations.
Enterprise Tier
From $1,999Complexity Score: 46+ points
Full environment builds — landing zones, multi-service architectures, cross-account setups. Scope defined and agreed before work starts. One-time fixed price.
Examples: Large-scale infrastructure requiring 10+ services, multi-account landing zones, or complete environment builds with networking, compute, and security.
Scope Limitations & Exclusions

- Third-party service integrations (Stripe, SendGrid, etc.)
- Custom Terraform providers or SDK extensions
- Configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet)
- CI/CD pipeline setup and maintenance
Operations & Migration
- Application-level migration or integration testing
- Ongoing monitoring or maintenance services
- Multi-environment orchestration (dev/test/prod pipelines)
- Data migration or ETL processes
Consulting Services
- Full infrastructure redesign consulting
- Cloud platform selection consulting
- Architecture review engagements
- Compliance certification services
Enterprise Tier: Complex requirements exceeding Professional scope are handled under the Enterprise tier (from $1,999). Each project is custom-scoped and priced before work begins.

Example Calculation
Sample Project: Production Web Application on AWS (Single Region)
Requirements:
- 7 cloud resources: RDS (database), ECS/EC2 (compute), S3 (storage), CloudFront (CDN), ALB (load balancer), VPC (networking), Security Groups
- High availability: Multi-AZ RDS, auto-scaling ECS tasks
- Complex networking: VPC with public/private subnets, NAT gateways
- PCI-DSS compliance requirements
- Load balancing and auto-scaling configurations
Note: Single region (e.g., us-east-1), single AWS account deployment.
Scale: 7 resources × 0.5 = 3.5 points
High Availability (multi-AZ): +10 points
Complex networking (VPC, subnets, NAT): +5 points
PCI-DSS Compliance: +10 points
Load balancing + auto-scaling: +5 points
Total Score: 33.5 points → Professional Tier ($799)
What's NOT included: Multi-region deployment, third-party payment integrations (Stripe/PayPal), email service integrations, CI/CD pipelines, or monitoring/alerting systems. These would fall under the Enterprise tier (from $1,999).
